Person You've been closest with the longest

MY MOMMY. We used to not be close, now that I'm married... she's the first person I call. I had to change her number on my speed dial to 2(my husbands first) because I call her ALL THE TIME! Over everything... she's actually probably getting sick of me. I call her when I see something cute in a store, or a magazine. I call her when my dinner looks funny and I need her help to fix it. I call her to find out where all the hot deals to get groceries are at. I call her when I'm sick. I call her when I'm feeling better. I call her when I found something new and exciting. I call her when I've lost something. I call her to tell her a good song is on... okay I don't take it that far. I'm sure she never imagend us being this close, I never imagined we'd be this close. But, my mom is freaking awesome! She's my hero! I don't know how she has done what she has and survived because growing up is hard work! As I was younger and in high school I was a very independent girl and didn't open up to anyone. People tried to break my "hard shell," which never really worked. I'll admit I dated a couple of guys who I though might change that, so I opened up to them. They were a couple of good friends through my high school years. One of them, in particular became my husband. When we were dating I fell for him hard and fast, he became my best friend and cracked me like an egg. Three years after he left for his mission we got married and Thats how I became best friends with my mommy.  Marriage has changed a lot of my relationships. I realized who's worth being friends with and who is worth leaving in the past. My family though... will always be in my future.
