After a lot of discussing and mind changing and life changing moments we figured out what we wanted the nursery to look like. I mean, guys I seriously stressed myself out over this decission and now I have to just laugh because it is just a bedroom...right? Well not for me, this is the room where my first son will call his. He will come home to THIS room. This is the room where he will learn, and play, laugh and grow. So of course he needs a fun room. Now I thought about airplanes, and trains, and cars, and trucks, and dinosaurs, and snowboarding(of course) but those things already seemed "done too often" or not exactly kid like(snowboarding, really?) So after contemplating and stressing and looking at fabric after fabric and cartoons, I decided I want something amazing and with lots of color! So where do we all go when we need a good childhood book? Dr. Seuss. It's colorful, Fun, and who doesn't like a good rhyme? we will do a DR. SEUSS bedroom! Even better, we will do one of my favorite books and movies, Horton Hears A Who. From there we bought paint, and more paint...the poor Lowes guy was sick of us I'm sure (: and two months later...it's till not finished :) BUT...we are getting close, seriously guys we just have to finish the Truffula Trees(that are really lights!) and the Whoville wall (: It should be*crossing my fingers* finished by Friday Night(yes, this FRIDAY. THE 24th!) So until we get it finished, go ahead and check out what we have done so far.
